Cole has been my foster now for 2 1/2 years. It looks like his liver shunt is now to the point of needing daily medication to keep him healthy. Please consider becoming his monthly life saver. He will stay in my home as long as he has, I love cole to pieces! He is still available for local adoption only.

YES I M STILL AVAILABLE! Cole has a liver shunt that requires him to have a limited diet. He is currently eating Tractor supply store brand 4 health whitefish and potato. He knows how to sit on command I'm so smart I figured out if I go into the bedroom I have to sleep in a crate, so I stay out on the couch. I quietly let myself out the doggie door and lay around until my foster mommy gets up. I love toys and playing& have enough personality for 2 dogs. my mommy calls me" qwerky" I don't know what that means but I know she loves me. if you meet me I'm sure you'll fall in love too :-)

3/6/13 I love love love Cole <3 the sweetest cuddly boy :0)  he is still useing the doggie door perfectly and has never pottyied in the house. He is so cute to watch playing with his toys although he does love stealing my socks!

3/4/13 Cole came to live with me yesterday, what a absolute doll he is! He snuggled in tight last night after a long day. Cole is going to potty train quickly; he took right to the doggie door and has not pottyied in the house at all. He loves playing with toys. I could not get any photos to do this cute boy justice; he was a big hit at the home and garden show yesterday. Cole loved saying hi to the kids that wanted to pet him. on the way home he just curled right up.

2/19/13 Cole was saved from liberty yesterday as you can see he was horribly matted. I proceeded to give cole the worst haircut of his life! he didnt mind though he was happy to get all the dread locks off his body. he was so happy running around grabbing toys and dancing with glee .

Cole will be getting a intake exam today and possibly fixed.

I am unsure what breed cole is BUT he is a hypoallergenic dog who will not shed.

About Animal Compassion Team of California

About Our Rescue Group...

The vision for ACT has been brewing in the minds of the Animal Compassion Team founders for many years. The paths we have walked have prepared us and tested our determination through hard work, buckets of tears, mountains of fecal matter (a favorite topic of discussion amongst animal rescuers), and more then our fair share of discouragement and heartbreak. Having said that, why would we choose to dive in deeper? For the love of the animals we serve. It is just that simple. Dogs, cats, and other wonderful animals are dying in huge numbers daily. We hope to help change that. In August of 2009 we became a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation with the state of California and the Federal Government. It was, and continues to be, a huge leap of faith for all of us who already feel overwhelmed by the work we are doing but we believe this is the time....this is what we have all been preparing for. One life saved makes all the effort and emotional investment worthwhile. This is going to be an exciting journey and we hope to post MANY happy endings. New animals arrive daily......stay tuned .....we have only just begun!

Our Mission Statement:

To provide a safe haven for domestic animals, regardless of breed or species, through rescue, rehabilitation, adoption and sanctuary. To advocate for the humane treatment of animals and promote the human-animal bond. To educate the public about the importance of kindness, compassion, and responsible pet ownership which will emphasize spaying and neutering. To cooperate and work with other animal rescues and shelters towards the goal of becoming a no-kill nation.
