Molly's Info...
| Breed: | Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) Mix | Color: | Tricolor (Tan/Brown & Black & White) | Age: | Adult |
| Size: | Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg) | Sex: | Female |
Molly was surrendered to a high kill shelter. We cannot imagine why she was given up, since she is a sweet, friendly girl! She was rescued and is living with a foster family now. She takes daily walks with the teenage boys. She apparently got very little leash training as a puppy so she needs an experienced adopter who can work with her on leash training. She is a sensitive, intelligent girl. She is eager to please and will be highly trainable.
Molly is very neat and tidy and refuses to relieve herself even in her outdoor kennel! She will make a great companion and family member!
Rescue Group Info...
Saving The Animals Together (S.T.A.T.) is a group of animal lovers dedicated to networking and rescuing dogs and cats from our local high kill shelter, as well as animals that are in danger of being sent to a high kill facility. All of our dogs and cats are rescued in Tennessee. We invite you to help us save the lives of these pets on death row.
We are a foster based rescue and as such, we have no public facilities. Our fosters are all in Tennessee, therefore meeting your pet before adoption is not possible. However, we will provide accurate information about each animal. Because they are fostered in homes, we are able to assess their temperament. The fosters work on behavior, house training, socialization and provide the best individualized care.
Our adoption fee of $350 includes vetting, including spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, heartworm/lyme/ehrlichiosis test for all dogs (and treatment for any positive results),a microchip, and transport costs. (Adopter is responsible to register the chip and pay any registration fees). All of our adoptable pets are current on heartworm preventative and flea/tick preventative. You will find our preliminary application on our website http://www.savingtheanimalstogether.org/#!adoptable-dogs-and-cats/c1yi2 Upon receiving your application a volunteer will contact you for a telephone interview and then our local volunteer will set up a home visit.
