Samson's Story...
Meet Handsome Samson!

He’s a handsome Dutch Shepherd mix with a heart of gold. Samson is a show stopping big boy, weighing in the 70 pound range. Samson is in a foster home with other dogs and loves them all. He is so dog friendly! His foster family says he is housebroken and he loves going on walks and meeting new people (kids too!) and animals. We aren’t sure how he is with cats. Our vet thinks he’s a little under a year, which means he has his whole life to shower his new family with lots of love.

Samson is very affectionate and loves to cuddle with his foster parent. Poor Samson was saved with no collar, tag or microchip. He was skinny, cold and scared too. When our volunteer saved him, he ran into her arms and never looked back. He is ready for his forever home and can’t wait to be a part of a family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Samson, a Santa Monica Dutch Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dutch Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Santa Monica, or seeking a Dutch Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Santa Monica.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Monica already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Monica breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dutch Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Dutch Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Monica paves the way for another one to be saved.
