James's Story...
James is a brindle Lab mix puppy who is about 3 months old. James and his siblings are going to be large dogs when they grow up. The exact breeds of the parents are unknown so we are unsure how large they will be or what they will look like. Right now they are the cutest little puppies youve ever seen. James is soft with a whiskery face and is sweet as can be. He really enjoys playing but will snuggle right up to you when you pick him up. They will need to be housebroken. He is neutered, up to date on his age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

James, a Jackson Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Jackson, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Jackson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jackson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jackson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jackson paves the way for another one to be saved.
