Rogue's Story...
IDGSR WELCOMES ROGUE INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!

Rogue is a 2 year-old Sable German Shepherd who spent the first part of her life living outside with her brother Roane, with little training and socialization, Now that they are with IDGSR, that has all changed. Rogue loves to be inside and is thriving with the attention and she is learning her house manners, she is being crate trained and loves her x-large crate. She is being socialized with other dogs and is doing great. We have had several sets of siblings that have come in who received little attention and training from their owners. Rogue is like a puppy learning all these new things. She has made leaps in just a couple weeks and we are very proud of her progress. Rogue we believe will be another success story. Rogue is a fine young gal and she is very engaging and affectionate. She will benefit from some obedience work however we are working with her and this smart gal responds well. With a family who will be patient as she learns the 'ropes' of a household, a routine and schedule and patient loving parents, we believe that Rogue will be an awesome family member. Remember, education goes a long ways and we have started the education process with Rogue, We believe Rogue will be one of our All Star kids.

If you would like to apply for Roane to be a member of your family, please apply with this rescue, we'd love to work with you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rogue, a Greeneville German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Greeneville, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Greeneville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greeneville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greeneville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greeneville paves the way for another one to be saved.
