IDGSR WELCOMES Roane INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!
Roane is a 2 year-old Sable German Shepherd who spent the first part of his life living outside with his sister Rogue, with little training and socialization, Now that they are with IDGSR, that has all changed. Roane loves to be inside and is thriving with the attention and he is learning his house manners, he is being crate trained and loves his x-large crate. He is being socialized with other dogs and is doing great. We have had several sets of siblings that have come in who received little attention and training from their owners. Roane is like a puppy learning all these new things. He has made leaps in just a couple weeks and we are very proud of his progress. Roane we believe will be another success story. Roane is a fine young fella and he is very engaging and affectionate. He will benefit from some obedience work however we are working with him and this smart fella responds well. With a family who will be patient as he learns the 'ropes' of a household, a routine and schedule and patient loving parents, we believe that Roane will be an awesome family member. Remember, education goes a long ways and we have started the education process with Roane, We believe Roane will be one of our All Star kids.
