Bullwinkle's Story...
Rocky is a sweet sweet boy. He follows people everywhere and anywhere! He needs companionship and doesn't like being alone. He gets along great with other dogs (big and little, boys or girls). He allows children to climb all over him and kiss his face. He is housebroken and stands at the door with a whine to let you know he has to go out. He is a people dog and will do best with someone who stays home.

The $85 adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, rabies tag, heartworm test, and 1st month's flea/tick & heartworm preventative. Please complete an adoption application at www.sarocks.org, or email adopt@sarocks.org if you would like to make this dog part of your family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bullwinkle, a San Antonio Boxer/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/German Shepherd Dog for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Boxer/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Boxer/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
