My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Karma" is a gorgeous 1½-yo spayed female GSD who is very affectionate and playful. Karma is friendly with everyone she meets, and will be good with young children. She is great with other dogs and loves to chase and be chased. She is likely not good with cats, as she wants to chase them when she sees them on walks. Karma weighs about 65 lbs and is still filling in.

Karma is well-behaved in the house and non-destructive. She does not know many commands, but is eager to learn. She pulls fairly hard when walking on leash, but the use of a chest harness has helped her foster caretakers gain more control of her.

Karma was purchased as a puppy by her former owners, and was always kept outside. Eventually, they put her on a cable and stopped paying hardly any attention to her. Karma's neighbors became her only source of human interaction, and ultimately they convinced Karma's owners to let GSRSV find her a new home. Fortunately, nearly a year on that cable did little to dampen Karma's spirit, as she is just full of life and happiness.

Karma is in a foster home in Vallejo. Her adoption fee is $250.
