Haven's Story...
Hello, my name is Haven and I had a close call! My babies and I were sent to a shelter and my blue-eyed puppies were adopted. I was skinny and frail and my coat was drab, but someone adopted me for a little bit of money and put me up for sale as a breeder -- for a lot! He didn't even look at me closely enough to realize I was sick.

Kind rescue people bought me from that guy; medicine and good food helped me get well. I'm in good condition now, with a plush coat and full of cheer! I'm well-behaved, loving, and responsive -- so glad to be alive and feeling well!

I'm house trained, get along great with other dogs, and love humans, too.

I'm spayed, vaccinated, and my heartworm test was negative, so I'm ready to join my true family -- would love to have a dog friend, too, because I sure do love to play. My adoption fee is $150.00.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Haven, a Santa Fe Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Santa Fe, or seeking a Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Santa Fe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Fe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Fe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Fe paves the way for another one to be saved.
