My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Miss Marie: 4 yr old female chocolate point Himalayan

This is a girl with serious whiskers. She is definitely a cutie.
Larger than her brother ( 5 pounds 2 ozs vs his 4 pounds 7 ozs) she
is still a tiny thing. She is shy and will panic if scared but when
carefully soothed and fussed over she loves to be petted. She came in
badly matted and I immediately shaved the solid matts off her lower
back. She cooperated and purred. As I was shaving the matts which
always form right behind and below the ears I noticed a dangling name
tag under her chin. "What ! ?" I said . Where is the collar?. Her
collar was embedded so tightly , so deeply I could not see it nor
could I get a finger under it at all. I pressed the release button
and off it came. ( this type of moment is one reason why I do
rescue ) Poor thing.

Little Marie will be fine and is doing well but her adopter is going
to need to give her some special love and time to heal. She loves to
lie in the sun and eating is a pleasure. She too has a big coat and
half of it is currently shaved . Her little pink tongue is usually
showing and is so perfect. Her adopter will have the pleasure of
watching her as she unfolds and relaxes and enjoys her new life as
she comes to trust her new human.

She must be adopted with her brother Mr Magic.

Her foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.
