Legato's Story...
I LOVE BLACK CATS! THIS ONE IS A KEEPER. I always fall for the black kittens, and Legato is no exception. He's sweet, loves a lap, as does his brother, Sticatto. He is sleek, with huge golden eyes, full of energy and ready for a family with kids and dogs. He grew up with two Poodle mixed dogs and a big German Wire Haired Pointer. He's a confident little guy who desperately needs a home of his own. Please don't pass by this beautiful black cat. He was bottle raised and very bonded to humans. You won't regret taking this boy home. Once your application is approved you can see Legato in my home in Winchester (French Valley area). Download an aplication from the FUR website and complete and email to mtavenner@roadrunner.com. Legato is waiting!

Kittens adopted through FUR will be vaccinated, spayed or neutered, tested for Felv and many of them are microchipped prior to adoption. Typical Kitten adoption donations are $100, cash or cards accepted, sorry no checks. Please visit our website, www.felineundergroundrescue.com for an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Legato, a Winchester Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Winchester, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Winchester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winchester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winchester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winchester paves the way for another one to be saved.
