About Our Shelter...
We are a municipal shelter responsible for the enforcement of all animal related laws in the City of Norman. Our first goal is to return pets in the field so they never come to the shelter. For that reason we push the city pet licensing program and micro chipping, we really want to return pets in the field. Pets left at our facility for more than five days are evaluated and place in our adoption program.

Come Meet Our Pets...
We are located across the highway from the National Sever Storms lab. at Jenkins and Highway nine. We are open to the public Monday through Friday from 0900 AM to 4:45PM.

On the second Saturday of each month we are at Pets Smart for an outside adoption event.
Our Adoption Process...
Pick the pet that you are interested in. If it is already Spay/Neutered then you are ready to go. If not we will place it on hold and place it on the next available surgery day.

The cost in $60.00 for each adoption. That includes spay/Neuter Vaccination (age appropriate) a one years rabies, and City pet license.
