Stacatto's Story...
I said this before for his brother, Legato...I LOVE BLACK CATS! Stacatto, one of two black kittens from the litter of bottle babies ,is a sweet, affectionate lap kitty. He loves to curl up in our laps with his brother Legato and just spend an evening. He's sweet and playful, and beautiful. Big gold eyes make this boy strking! He is comfortable with my three dogs and the household of other fosters. He will be a wonderful and beautiful addition to any family. Stacatto can be seen at my home in Winchester (French valey) once we have an approved application.

Kittens adopted through FUR will be vaccinated, spayed or neutered, tested for Felv and many of them are microchipped prior to adoption. Typical Kitten adoption donations are $100, cash or cards accepted, sorry no checks. Please visit our website, www.felineundergroundrescue.com for an application. Email to mtavenner@roadrunner.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stacatto, a Winchester Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Winchester, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Winchester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winchester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winchester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winchester paves the way for another one to be saved.
