Gremmy's Story...
This adorable ball of fluff is Gremmy, a shepherd mix that is barely a year old. Can you believe that this little guy was wandering the streets all by himself? How Gremmy became a stray is beyond us, but he is safe and happy now, and just thrilled to be getting so much attention! Gremmy is the sweetest little guy ever, and just wants to be held and loved all the time! When he's out for a walk, he will stop, whine a little, and stand on his hind legs to get you to hold him. He never stops smiling and nothing gets this little boy down. Gremmy just loves life and everyone he meets too. He doesn't seem to mind other animals and is very outgoing and personable. Gremmy loves to run and play, and would love a home with a nice yard to roam in. Please consider giving our little Gremmy the great home that he's dreaming of! 2/11/13 File#22267

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gremmy, a Forked River Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Forked River, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Forked River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forked River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forked River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forked River paves the way for another one to be saved.
