Molly's Story...
Molly was less than an hour away from being euthanized in a shelter because she was found as a stray and no one came looking for her, and the shelter deemed her unadoptable because she wasn't young and cute! But just look at her now! We believe Molly was the victim of a breeder dump once she no longer could produce puppies for profit. Molly is approx 10 years old, very strong & healthy, heartworm negative, very alert & happy! According to our vet, she is blind in one eye, and has some hearing loss. She is potty-trained, trustworthy to stay free in the home without any incident day or night, is good with other dogs and cats (she basically ignores them) and enjoys being groomed. Molly is very low-maintenance, as she likes to simply find a warm lap, or warm bed, and camp out there most of the time. Molly has many years left ahead and she is so kind and gentle and content. We rescued Molly so she can see what it is like to have a good life and one filled with love. Can Molly spend her life with you? Contact:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Molly, a Fort Worth Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Fort Worth, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Fort Worth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Worth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Worth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Worth paves the way for another one to be saved.
