Daphne's Story...
Daphne's story is like so many others, born to a stray mother cat that had been an unspayed house cat, left to fend for herself. Momma cat stopped at a residence long enough to have her kittens, shortly after their birth Momma kitty disappeared never to be seen again. The family that had befriended Momma cat took total responsibility for four three-week-old kittens caring for them for the next six months.

Daphne is one of the two kittens that the family decided to bring into ACAR to be rehomed. Daphne and her sister Daisy are both loving sweet house pets. Both girls are Maine Coon X's. Daphne is a black and white and her sister, Daisy is all black. Both kittens are social, extremely well adjusted and are as gentle as anyone could ever want. Daphne and Daisy are current on all necessary vaccinations, spayed and have passed their wellness exam. Both Daphne and Daisy will do well with children, other peaceful cats and non aggressive dogs.

Daphne, a N. Berwick Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in N. Berwick, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in N. Berwick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in N. Berwick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a N. Berwick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in N. Berwick paves the way for another one to be saved.
