Ruff Ruff! My name is TUX

TUX's Story...
Tux is an approximately 1.5 year old male cattle dog/pit bull mix. He looks like he might have a little bit of pointer and maybe a few other things too! He is a nice boy. He really enjoys being petted and even though he is about 35 pounds, he''ll try and climb into your lap. He is a moderately active dog who will need a home willing to take him for evening walks and get him out of the house, but he isn''t too high energy. He would benefit from attending basic obedience classes as it does not appear that he has had any training yet. He was introduced to another large female dog here at the shelter and he got along with her well, although he is initially comes on a bit strong. Tux would be a good dog for a home with kids 8+ and preferably a home that has had a dog or two before.
