Moose's Story...
Moose is a Shelter Puppy Dog:
adoption date is 9-08-07 and can be put to sleep any time after the adoption date.
Moose's owner had this to say.

Moose is around 7 months old, is Medium/Small in size, walks on a leash, sits when asked, he got along with other dogs, cats and children while in our care, is house trained and enjoys rides in the car. he appears to be very sweet when you are in his kennel or he's out for a walk, playful, well mannered, some what obedient, alert and is waiting for someone to come to his rescue.

Dawn gave a little test by looking in Moose's mouth, pulling on his ears and tail, holding his paw and giving him a little kiss and hug. Moose appeared to past the test with no problems, Like all of our shelter dogs, we suggest a well fenced yard for Moose to play and be safe in. We feel he may make a super loving and wonderful companion.

Act quickly to adopt Moose. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Moose, a Grass Valley Jack Russell Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Grass Valley, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier puppy from a breeder in Grass Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grass Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grass Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grass Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
