Buddy's Story...
Buddy is a seven year old male Schnauzer/Poodle mix. He has been neutered, is heartworm negative and current on his vaccinations. Buddy loves people of all ages, lives peacefully with dogs and cats, and will bond well with his humans. His only vice is food aggression. He doesn't discriminate between humans or animals in showing his displeasure for touching his food. We know there is someone out there who will understand Buddy deal with this issue. Otherwise, he is a loving boy!

About Our Rescue Group...
Friends of Rescue is a certified 501(c)(3) organization consisting of volunteers who are devoted to saving shelter dogs that are in danger of euthanasia. Rural Kentucky, Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee shelters have a constant overflow of dogs, little funding, and limited space. Once the dogs arrive at the shelter, they have very little time. It is our goal to help save these adoptable dogs and adopt them out to loving families. Although our priorities are the retriever breeds, we are not limiting ourselves to retrievers because we know that there are many great dogs that need our help. We are NOT professional trainers or animal behaviorists; simply volunteers who are trying to save these dogs from euthanasia.

Our adoption fee covers their complete age-appropriate vetting, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm/flea prevention, and full medical records.
