My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rosie is 8 yrs old and weighs about 10 lbs. She has a very unique and special story. She was brought to the shelter as a stray, but the shelter believes she was probably dumped by her owners. The shelter gave her a physical exam and found she had bladder stones and a large mass or tumor in her stomach the size of a lemon. The bladder stones where too large for her to pass so she needed surgery to remove them and her tumor. We knew she was not going to get adopted in that condition so we rescued her. She had the surgery to remove her bladder stones and the tumor and we had that biopsied and it was not cancerous. She now has a clean bill of health.

Considering what she has been through she is the sweetest little girl. We had the bladder stones tested to see if they can reappear and they can so she needs to be on a special diet of UD canned food. Other then that she can lead a long normal life. She is super sweet with people, dogs and even little kids, but not so great with cats she is very curious of them. She would make a wonderful companion for someone and now needs to be spoiled. She is updated on all her shots, microchipped and spayed.
