Lola's Story...
Our lovely Lola sure hit the jackpot the day that a nice rescue group walking into her shelter in Virginia. She was scheduled to be euthanized that day, but these good people took her out, then they sent her on up to us at Popcorn Park and we are so happy to have her! Lola is a gorgeous beagle that is about a 1 1/2 years old. Lola was so shy when we first met her that she would crouch and cower a bit, but once she learns that she can trust you, she will really open up and love you forever. Lola is still shy upon meeting people, but she bonds quickly to people that are patient with her and show her kindness. Her tail wags non-stop when she sees one of her new friends, and she loves to go for walks and check things out. Lola is playful too, and has lots of fun running and sniffing in our exercise yard. Lola is very well behaved and walks well on a leash. She is super polite too and takes treats very gently. Lola gets along with other dogs and would love a nice, quiet home with people that promise to love and care for her always. Please consider opening your heart and home to our deserving young lady. 2/17/13 File#22280

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lola, a Forked River Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Forked River, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Forked River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forked River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forked River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forked River paves the way for another one to be saved.
