Harley is a great dog. She was an owner turn in and is house trained, crated trained, does well on a leash, and will let you know when she wants to go outside. She is extremely friendly and has plenty of puppy energy. She will make a great family pet. If you are interested in a dog, please go to www.tailsofcourage.org to fill out an application, and email to info@tailsofcourage.org. We are NOT a shelter, we are a group of foster homes in various states. Adoption fee $150.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harley, a Danbury Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Danbury, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Danbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Danbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Danbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Danbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
