Scottie's Story...
Scottie is an extra sweet little guy (~6 mos) who came to the rescue as a result of an owner surrender (in a hoarding situation) to a shelter that could not accommodate them.

The rescue was ultimately able to save 7 of these dogs which have now all been vetted and either spayed/neutered.

Scottie is with his foster family and although he's a litte bit shy, he is doing great! He plays well with all other dogs and warms up to every persion he meets. He is also crate trained. If you think Scottie would be a good fit for your family, please go to: www.heavencanwaitanimalrescue.com and fill out an application today! Thanks for adopting!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scottie, a Russellville Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Jack Russell Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Russellville, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Jack Russell Terrier puppy from a breeder in Russellville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Russellville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Russellville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Russellville paves the way for another one to be saved.
