Rhys's Story...
Rhys is about 6-8 months and full of puppy love!! He was left by his former owners when they moved and turned into the shelter! This little guy has been nothing but happy since we rescued him! He lives with 2 foster doggie sisters and loves to play chase, frisbee and ball with them! But don't get us wrong, when it comes time to snuggle, Rhys will curl right up and go to sleep with you! He is UTD on vaccines and will be neutered and microchipped before being adopted! This handsome man will make a great addition to any family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rhys, a Elderton American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Elderton, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Elderton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elderton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elderton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elderton paves the way for another one to be saved.
