Ella's Story...
Hi, I'm Ella and I am about 10 months old and love to be pampered. My start in life wasn't that great as me and my other sister and brother were found outside in Ridgway. A nice lady brought us to the vet and he told Safely Home Canine rescue about us. We came home with 9 other puppies too! I was adopted out to a very nice family who came into hard times and I was returned to Safely Home Canine Rescue. I love my new foster home, they are teaching me sit, stay, paw, and love playing with my foster siblings. I love all people, kids, dogs, and even at one time lived with cats, so as you can see I am pretty flexible, I just want to find my forever home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ella, a Plainfield Black and Tan Coonhound/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Black and Tan Coonhound/Dachshund for sale in Plainfield, or seeking a Black and Tan Coonhound/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Plainfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plainfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plainfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Black and Tan Coonhound/Dachshund breeders who help with Black and Tan Coonhound/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plainfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
