Penny's Story...
Penny is a one year old female Min Pin that was pulled from a high kill shelter in Eastern KY. Her previous owners dumped her when she went into heat. Penny is currently in a foster home and is thriving well. She loves to play with other dogs. She likes to race and play tug of war. She does have lots of energy so her new family needs to have time to play and go for walks regularly. She is great with kids and cats too. Prior to adoption she will be spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative. Email us at if you are interested in Penny.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Penny, a Hazard Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Hazard, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Hazard.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hazard already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hazard breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hazard paves the way for another one to be saved.
