Andy and Lily's Story...
Andy (left) 5 years old and Lily (right) 12 years old both need a forever home together. These babies lost their mom to ovarian cancer and the family asked me to take them in my rescue and find them a home. They are bonded, Lily is the mother of Andy and they have always been together. They are both spayed and neutered recently, vaccianted, microchipped and heartworm negative. If you would like to adopt this pair, please contact me asap. They are potty pad trained when I am away, but will go outside to use the potty when I am home. They are being fostered with me in Upstate SC, but transports are available.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Andy and Lily, a Baltimore Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Baltimore, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Baltimore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baltimore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baltimore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baltimore paves the way for another one to be saved.
