Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rascal is a 5 y/o faded tri colored beagle boy who is very chunky for his 13 inch frame. Rascal lost his owner to illness this past fall and spent the next three months living with his lab buddy in a house with no human companionship. Someone came by daily to give the boys fresh water and food, but otherwise, they were on their own. When you see this little roly-poly guy, you will have no question of who got the lion’s share of the food!
Rascal is a sweet and loving guy, who craves attention and companionship. He is excellent with small kids and the small canine friends that share his foster home. Rascal is housebroken with or without a dog door. He doesn’t get into things that don’t belong to him. He is playful and enjoys a game of tug or chase. Surprisingly, as you can see from the pictures, he is able to get his short chunky body up on the furniture for a comfy nap, but would prefer a human to cuddle up next to! He walks well on the leash with just the normal amount of beagle pulling when a good scent comes his way.
Rascal will make a wonderful companion to any type family. He is quiet enough to live in an apartment. Please take the time to apply to meet this wonderful beagle boy. Rascal deserves the best you can give!
