Ivan's Story...
Ivan, along with many other dogs, was taken from a situation where too many dogs lived in one place with nobody to care for them. He has adjusted well to living in a home, and he is getting used to having constant attention. He comes of as sort of shy, but will quickly warm up to a kind heart. He is very loyal and likes to follow his foster mom around the house. He is kind of leary towards larger dogs, but once he knows they are not going to hurt him, he mellows out.

For more information on Ivan, please contact his foster home at 573-765-3387 or email jenzme@ymail.com

A $75 adoption donation is asked to offset his vet costs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ivan, a Crocker Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Crocker, or seeking a Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Crocker.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Crocker already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Crocker breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Crocker paves the way for another one to be saved.
