Pixie's Story...
Pixie is one of a rescue of over 30 dogs from one residence. Although very shy and unsure at first, she has warmed up and become extremely affectionate and craves attention. She has entered the inside of the house just this week at her foster home and is doing beautifully with house-training! She loves to ride in the vehicle and can be left inside without causing any problems.

The gentleman on the property she came from thinks she is about 4 and the vet thinks around 7 so take your pick! She has not had an easy life until now so we would consider her to be a middle aged dog. She weighs just under 25 lbs.

A fenced yard is preferred as she is still a little shy and unsure - that is why she is listed her as special needs. It will require love and patience when she initially becomes a part of your family. She has accepted everything new presented to her in the past three weeks and has had a wonderful attitude. She is doing well walking on a lead. She gets along well with other dogs and seems to be uninterested in cats.

Requested adoption donation of $90 to the Pulaski County Humane Society to defray expenses. Thanks for considering these dogs to be a part of your family & being a forever home..
