Quidich's Story...
Hi, my name is Quiddich! I am a male Shar-Pei mix born in April of 2012. I may also know the name “Quanda”. I was part of an ‘oops’ litter, and our first owner asked the BCFFA to help find all of us new homes. Since I am the last one to be adopted, I am currently being fostered so I can get used to home living.
I am now house trained, leash trained, and crate trained. I knows some obedience skills and even a few tricks. I love to play fetch and I am a champion cuddler. I ride very well in the car, and am always up for going somewhere.
Like many Shar-Pei and Shar-pei mixes. I am wary of new people when I first meet them. I am not afraid of them, but I will not rush up to them, either. I can also be protective of my family.
I love stuffed toys and like to take all of mine to my bed and snuggle with them. I love to play tug and fetch.
I am very dog social, and I go to doggy daycare a few times a week. I also live with a cat in my foster home. I would probably do fine with older children as long as we were properly introduced.
I am not a high energy dog. I love to go for walks, but I do not need hours every day.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Quidich, a baltimore Shar Pei dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shar Pei for sale in baltimore, or seeking a Shar Pei dog from a breeder in baltimore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in baltimore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a baltimore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shar Pei breeders who help with Shar Pei rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in baltimore paves the way for another one to be saved.
