Sophie Lee's Info...
|Breed:||Feist Mix||Color:||Tricolor (Tan/Brown & Black & White)||Age:||Young|
|Size:||Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)||Sex:||Female|
I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
Sophie is an exceptional dog, athletic with a gorgeous muscular build to match. She's 28 pounds with a beautiful coat - shiny and healthy. She's approximately a year old and will rest happily by your side for an hour at a time, but loves to play and romp in the yard at every opportunity. She can catch a ball mid-air and will play chase with a companion dog till they both drop! She could probably be a GREAT Frisbee dog! She's 100% house trained, leash trained, and rides well in a car. Sophie is very focused and intelligent - so she'd enjoy structured exercise of any kind -- maybe agility classes or daily jogging because she enjoys being challenged and learning new skills. She's a fascinating breed with a bright, happy personality. If you'd like to meet her, please email INFO@FORrescue.net. Sophie is fostered in Huntsville, AL
Rescue Group Info...
Friends of Rescue is a certified 501(c)(3) organization consisting of volunteers who are devoted to saving shelter dogs that are in danger of euthanasia. Rural Kentucky, Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee shelters have a constant overflow of dogs, little funding, and limited space. Once the dogs arrive at the shelter, they have very little time. It is our goal to help save these adoptable dogs and adopt them out to loving families. Although our priorities are the retriever breeds, we are not limiting ourselves to retrievers because we know that there are many great dogs that need our help. We are NOT professional trainers or animal behaviorists; simply volunteers who are trying to save these dogs from euthanasia.
We have many wonderful dogs and cats looking for FORever Homes!
Our adoption fee covers their complete age-appropriate vetting, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm/flea prevention, and full medical records.
Please email us at info@FORrescue.net for an application to begin the adoption process.
