I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and not good with cats.
Casey is an approx. 1 ½ year old pure bred female German Shepherd who was found wandering in the Central Valley before ending up in a high kill shelter. She was rescued on the same day she was to be euthanized. Casey has a great temperament. She is being fostered in a home of five other dogs of all sizes and gets along well in her pack. She gets along great with kids. She is very athletic and playful, and loves retrieving all sizes of balls and playing fetch with her toys. She would be an excellent Frisbee or agility dog, I’m sure! She is learning to walk on a leash very quickly, rides well in the car, and is very affectionate. She chases cats, so it is better that she be in a home with no felines. Casey is crate trained, housebroken and is healthy. She would make a fabulous pet for an active family and a great watch dog. She is a little reactive so she does bark at other dogs while walking, and requires a pronged choke chain for best results. She eats well and is slowly gaining weight from being severely underweight in the shelter. She would be best placed in a home with a person experienced in GSD training and temperament.
