Roscoe's Story...
Roscoe is a handsome beagle who was found as a stray. A Good Samaritan is taking care of him right now, but she cannot keep him. After two weeks of advertising, nobody has come forward to claim this sweet boy.

Roscoe is “the perfect dog,” according to his rescuer. He’s gentle and loving. He gets along extremely well with other dogs and does excellent with children of all ages — even the little ones. He has a very mild temperament and is sweet-natured.

Roscoe is probably around 2 years old. Give him a chance to become the newest member of your family — you won’t be disappointed!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roscoe, a Jefferson Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Jefferson, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Jefferson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jefferson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jefferson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jefferson paves the way for another one to be saved.
