Minnie's Story...
Introducing "Minnie". This little girl was in really sad shape a couple months ago, weighing only 2 1/2 pounds at 5 months old, starving, dehydrated, and with an awful injury (from a dog or tom-cat) that almost required removing her tail. She's fully recovered now. Has been spayed and vaccinated for rabies.
Now at 6 pounds, this little tiger will probably always be small. But she has a big personality! She is very talkative, especially around meal time. Loves the lazer light and is a major purr machine! She gets along well with the cat-friendly dogs and cats at her foster home. She has been indoor only since her rescue and is fully litter box trained! Ready for a special home to settle into. She'll do great once she trusts you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Minnie, a Modesto Abyssinian cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Abyssinian for sale in Modesto, or seeking a Abyssinian cat from a breeder in Modesto.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Modesto already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Modesto breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Abyssinian breeders who help with Abyssinian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Modesto paves the way for another one to be saved.
