Bandit's Story...
ADOPTED! I'm affectionate, enthusiastic, and ready for a home. I'm a mostly pure border collie, might have a little labrador in my genes. Here's my story: I lost my person and was housed at an animal control facility for a month. I made lots of human friends among the volunteer dog walkers and the employees during my stay at animal control, but then I was exposed to kennel cough, so my human friends made sure I got to a rescue instead of being euthanized. Actually, I never even coughed, so I'm perfectly healthy and ready for a home. So, if you're looking for a mellow, happy canine companion, please, request an adoption application and arrange to meet me. Thanks! Bandit

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bandit, a Thatcher Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Thatcher, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Thatcher.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Thatcher already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Thatcher breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Thatcher paves the way for another one to be saved.
