Becca was so scared she hid under another dog in the shelter. We wanted her to come around at her own time. she is much better but will need patience for awhile. she wants to be friendly and loved but not sure if you'll hurt her or not. She was hurt and treated badly so needs to learn that people will be good to her. sweet girl. only 3 yrs old and 60bs. we left her with an open crate and she stayed there for 5 wks. only coming out to pee. she's so pretty and deserves a home and lots of love. She is a project of love. Likes other dogs if they aren't alpha. Needs someone with a fenced yard who will give her the time. she wants to be your companion and be loved like the others. We believe she might have been feral but we still were not going to let her die there.

spayed, and all vaccines UTD.
we do a trial foster.
adoption fee is low.

About Road Home Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a small group who try to save dogs off death row in the south. We pull them mostly from Ga, SC, and NC. Some are from Tn and KY or wherever we can help them.
So many dogs are killed in gas chambers in the South and we have to do whatever we can to help these poor animals who by no fault of their own are homeless. We are all volunteers and always need foster homes for any time you have available and donations to help pay our vetting bills. Heartworm treatment can be very expensive . We are so appreciative of any help and so are the pups.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We set up a meeting for you to meet the dog at our home where the dog is most comfortable and in his natural surroundings. . We have fosters in Cary, Morrisville and Charlotte. They are wonderful people who help save these lives.

Our Adoption Process...

We have an application to be filled out and upon approval within 2 days we have you meet the dog. Then we arrange a foster/trial adoption week. We also like to schedule a home visit before the final contracts . Our adoption fee ranges from a low $125-to a high of $350 . Most average $225 to cover the cost of our vetting.
