Here's what the humans have to say about me:
NEWS ABOUT BELLE!! In short, Belle is a sweet tempered, easy going, belly rub loving girl who just wants someone to love (and to love her). She is a champion cuddler; she’ll snuggle right up against your side and be happy to stay there. Her nickname is “Jelly Belly” not because she is round and jiggly – in fact, she’s quite svelte – but because she loves her belly rubs. In fact, if you stop before she’s ready, she’ll scoop your hand with her paw and move it back for more rubs! She loves people and is good with both adults and kids. (It’s all good as long as you are giving belly rubs or scratching ears.) She was initially described as not good with other dogs but she actually gets along well with her foster brothers and is happy to curl up with either of them for a nap. She is pretty quiet, both inside and outside. We had some issues for a bit with her barking when I left and when I got home, but we’ve worked on that and seem to have resolved the problem. She is not food possessive or motivated. (In fact, I have to keep an eye on her foster brothers because they will step in and eat her food, and she won’t say anything about it.) She is totally housetrained, and has not had a single accident in the months she’s been with us. She does not chew and has never expressed any interest in the trash. She walks pretty well on her leash. She’ll pull a bit if there is a smell or a critter that catches her attention, but she’s not horrible about it. If you’re looking for an easy-going cuddle bug, Belle is definitely your girl!Belle is more of a barker than her “sister” Chloe. Belle is a very loving dog with people, but she is not crazy about cats or other dogs. She is not food aggresive at all and just loves her humans!
