Chelsea's Story...
This spunky girl wants only to play. And when she's done playing her heart out, she'll climb into your lap for some cuddle time. Chelsea was found as a stray and taken to Chicago Animal Control. She was very thin, and missing hair, most likely from malnutrition from being lost on the streets. She's nice and plump, and healthy now, and ready for a forever home where she can play and cuddle to her hearts content.

Based on her personality and looks, we believe she is an oriental shorthair mix, with beautiful big ears and her wedge shaped face.

Chelsea is spayed, microchipped, negative for FIV/Leuk, treated for all parasites, and fully vaccinated.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chelsea, a Addison Oriental cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Oriental for sale in Addison, or seeking a Oriental cat from a breeder in Addison.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Addison already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Addison breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Oriental breeders who help with Oriental rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Addison paves the way for another one to be saved.
