Tootsie's Story...
Tootsie was believed to be hit by a car that fractured her left forelimb. While in the shelter it was determined that the lef could not be saved and was amputated. We rescued her from the shelter 2 days after the amputation. Let me tell you; she has no idea that she is different from the others! She was immediately content with hopping around and has adjusted amazingly. She is a total lovebug! She lives in her foster home with a couple other dogs and is learning to share. She is full of life and would make a wonderful addtion to any home. Toots can be adopted for $160 which includes updated vaccinations, spay and micro-chip.

ARF (Animal Rescue Friends) is a foster based rescue. We are committed to do what we can to help save the lives of dogs that may be put to sleep. We will not over-extend ourselves and take on more then we have fosters for. We also will not board dogs. We are also in the process of getting our 501c3.

Our Adoption Process...
If interested in adopting; please fill out an Adoption Application located on our website animalrescuefriends.org. Once approved for the adoption there is an Adoption Contract that will be filled out. Our adoption donation fees depend on the dog (usually between $160 - $250) and we are cash only. Most importantly is that we want to find the perfect home for our dogs!
