Leo's Info...
| Breed: | Domestic Mediumhair | Color: | Brown Tabby | Age: | Young |
| Sex: | Male | Hair: | Medium |
I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with cats.
The first thing you notice about Leo is how stunning he looks with gorgeous dark, swirly, patterns found throughout his coat. Beyond looks though, if you are searching for a snuggle bug, Leo’s your cat!
Leo will be your little shadow following you everywhere you go, trying to help you do whatever it is you are doing. When you finally give in and begin petting him, which believe me…you will give in; Leo will affectionately head butt you, rub his face against yours, and give you gentle love bites on your cheeks.
Leo is a flopper. This means he will flop over and go limp for petting any time, any place. Flopping can occur in the vicinity of your shoulders, chest, neck, or lap – whatever is available, he will take. Be advised that flops occurring in the lap can last 30 minutes plus, so you may want to make yourself comfortable prior to the flop! Leo is not shy about inviting you to pet his tummy by S-T-R-E-T-C-H-I-N-G out as much as possible to ensure you have full access to all sections of his tummy. Leo also loves to be held. All encounters involving petting will immediately be accompanied by incredibly loud purring.
Even though Leo’s favorite thing in the world is being cuddled and pet, Leo is more than happy to work off some of his energy with some quality playtime, especially if that playtime involves wand toys or laser light toys. Leo also finds brooms powered by people irresistible; start sweeping the room with a broom and Leo will immediately and enthusiastically begin chasing that broom!
Leo enjoys romping around and playing with other friendly kitties. Not only does Leo like playing with other kitties, he is very open to sharing snuggle time on his person’s lap with other kitties. Leo has also been observed giving other kitties a bath and receiving a bath from other kitties!
Leo is an exceedingly sweet, affectionate, and all-around good-natured kitty who seems to get along with just about everyone he meets. He is so excited to have this second chance at life; a chance to shower all the love he has in his heart on the person or people that will give him his forever home! To learn more - www.azrescue.org.

Rescue Group Info...
RESCUE is a registered non-profit volunteer based animal rescue organization located in Maricopa County. RESCUE has no central facility and is volunteer run. Our focus is on the "kill lists." We were founded in 1995, and with the support of our volunteers and our community, we have found homes for over 9,000 dogs and cats. Our motto is for every animal adopted, we are back to rescue another. We depend on the community for our support and offer a variety of satisfying ways for you to get involved in our mission to end the killing of the orphaned dogs and cats. Please consider adopting, volunteering or donating.
We do not have a shelter. We are at various special events around the valley. Please see our Upcoming Events section on our website for further information. We look forward to meeting you and introducing you to some of our wonderful animals.
Fill out an online application, have an interview with a Matchmaker, if we are in philosophical alignment, set up a meet and greet and if all goes well finalize the adoption. Our service fee for dogs is $150 and $125 for cats. All our dogs and cats are spayed and neutered prior to adoption.
