Elle's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Elle's Story...
Elle is fairly new to our rescue. Her owners were forced to move unexpectedly and could not keep her. She is a very good girl, a little quiet at first. Our rescue is ran through a pet resort and she does participate in our doggie daycare program. She is starting to play with other dogs as she becomes more comfortable although toys and food cannot be present.

About Great Pyrenees Rescue of Western Illinois, Inc

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a relatively young but determined rescue. As the founder, I owned my first pair of Great Pyrenees for 14 years. After they both passed I adopted another Pyr from a rescue. From there, I started to do foster work for that rescue through my pet resort and spa that I own and operate. Seeing the need, last year I founded my own rescue and have continued to grow since then.

We are trying to grow and develop our rescue with the intention of becoming a midwest regional rescue. We are currently trying to expand our foster program to meet these needs.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We have regular hours with our resort and have after hours by appointment. Rescues in foster homes are available for meeting by appointment also.

Our Adoption Process...

All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, heartworm tested, vaccinated against Bordetella, DHLP and Rabies, as well as microchipped prior to adoption. We require a $250 adoption fee that will partially recover our expenses. We do require that an adoption application be filled out and submitted. Upon receipt we will check veterinary and personal references and then schedule a home visit. *A fenced in yard is required, no invisible fencing is permitted.
