Libby's Story...
UPDATE 2/21/13: Abby has been adopted but Libby is still available to an approved home.

These 2 1/2 year old littermates are just like bookends, so hard to tell apart! They have had a rough start but will continue to blossom. They were infested with fleas upon arrival and suffered hair loss and skin infection due to the fleas. They are 70b lbs now but are very thin and will fill out nicely now with a good diet and deworming. These girls are so sweet, you will just fall in love!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Libby, a Cambridge Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever for sale in Cambridge, or seeking a Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Cambridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cambridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cambridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cambridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
