Ruby's Story...
Hi, my name is Ruby and I am a very lucky kitty! I was a stray and some nice people contacted this Rescue that helps homeless animals and by some miracle, they had a foster home for me to live in until I find my forever home. I am about a year old, spayed, combo tested negative, dewormed, current on shots and micro chipped. I use a scratching post and am social with people. I like to sit next to you and very unusual for a kitty, I like to give you kisses! I live with an 8 year old boy and a 2 year old girl and sleep at the 2 year old's feet. I prefer not to be picked up (as you can tell from the photo where I am being held!), but I am okay for baths and brushing. I am also fine with 2 older laid back cats and small dogs, but I don't like bigger dogs. I like to play, especially with pipe cleaners and mouse toys. My adoption donation is $85. To find out more information and to meet me, call or text (925) 209-6480 or email diane@tarescue.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ruby, a Phoenix Calico cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Calico cat from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
