Buddy's Story...
Buddy is an 8 year old male, neutered Cocker Spaniel. He is current on his vaccinations and house trained. Buddy is the sweetest dog ever and has a very gentle disposition. He is also blind, but you wouldn't know it, it certainly doesn't slow him down. He learns his environment quickly using his senses of smell and hearing. He is full of energy and loves to go on walks and just be around his people. Buddy would do best in a quiet environment without a lot of activity. Loud noises make him nervous.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Haymarket Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Haymarket, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Haymarket.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Haymarket already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Haymarket breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Haymarket paves the way for another one to be saved.
