Cupid's Story...
Cupid was not wanted because she "was unsuitable for breeding" and brought into animal control before being taken up on Craig's List. She is a great bun, great personality and just needed to be spayed. She will make a great first bun for first time bun people and maybe even a good bonding candidate. Cupid came to Sweet Binks on Valentine's Day and we expect she will get adopted quickly. Cupid is about 1 year old (last years Easter bunny probably) and she is doing well with her litterbox. If interested in Cupid, please visit www.sweetbinks.org for our adoption policies and online adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cupid, a Foster Harlequin was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Harlequin for sale in Foster, or seeking a Harlequin from a breeder in Foster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Foster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Foster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Harlequin breeders who help with Harlequin rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Foster paves the way for another one to be saved.
