My parents have passed away and they left behind two cats: Red & Spike. They are 14 years old short-hair, common house cats. Red and Spike have been going to All Creatures Vet in Porterville and are fixed. They are very loving cats and would be very adaptable.
Preferably a home for both as they are brothers and have never been a part, but a home for each would be fine. They are both very loving and social, in good health, good with dogs and spend most of their time indoors but also can go outdoors.
It is suggested as with all feline adoptions to keep a new companion indoors for a several weeks so they become familiar with the new surroundings. It is also good to make sure they have a 'special' area they can escape to when company comes. This will make both you and your companion have a much better relationship.
