Bessie: Prison Trained's Story...
Arf, arf and WELCOME! Thanks for visiting my Adopt-a-pet page. I am one of several hounds that are now fostered in an Ohio or Kentucky home and waiting to be adopted.

Ohio Hound Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit that is busy raising funds so that my adoption fee can be kept at $135.

Transport is available to PA, NY, CT, or VT via www.rescueriderstransport.com for an add'l $135. (Or you can make a road trip to meet me in Ohio.)

The good news is.... I am crate trained. Housebroken, and up to date on all vet care!! (My foster mom can tell you more about how I am with kids, cats and dogs too.)

** Bessie has been prison trained and has her basic obedience commands down pat!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bessie: Prison Trained, a Buffalo Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Beagle for sale in Buffalo, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Beagle dog from a breeder in Buffalo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Buffalo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Buffalo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Beagle breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Buffalo paves the way for another one to be saved.
