I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
Dannie has had some big adventures in her young life. She managed to escape from her foster home and was on the run for several weeks. Dannie was very hard to find, and we ended up having to use a humane trap to finally bring her home to the shelter. We had the help of many people from the shelter and the extremely large Maple Ridge Subdivision where she ended up hanging out. Dannie is now in a foster home learning additional social skills and working on her house training (almost there).
She is doing very well with the other dogs in the foster home. She will need lots of chew toys and bones to keep her occupied and away from the furniture!! Dannie can be pretty rough and she likes playwith with large dogs. She is still shy but is coming around. She is crated at night and is quiet when in her cage. She is doing very well on the house breaking, almost never goes inside. She loves the outdoors and needs alot of playtime. She really is a good little girl.
We are looking for a forever home for Danni with a family that has a fenced yard, other dogs as family members and who will be willing to continue working with her. If you would like to meet Danni, call Foster Mom Karen at 404-579-6398.
Our dog and puppy adoption fees are $250. That includes spay/neuter surgery, disease testing (dogs testing positive for heartworms are treated; however, we do not add that charge to our adoption fee), up to date vaccinations, deworming, up to date flea/tick & heartworm prevention, a 24Petwatch microchip and 30 days of 24PetWatch pet insurance.

Shelter Info...
Georgia SPCA is an adoption agency that rescues dogs and cats from GA shelters that are in danger of euthanasia. Once we pull an animal, it is vaccinated, quarantined for health reasons, dewormed, treated for fleas & ticks AND spayed or neutered prior to being placed up for adoption. We spay and neuter ALL of our pets including puppies and kittens.
We are open M-F 11-7, Sat 11-5 and Sun 1-4. The GA SPCA is on Buford Hwy is between McGinnis Ferry Rd. and Sugarload Parkway. We also have cats and kittens available for adoptions daily at the Flowery Branch Petsmart.
We begin our process with an adoption application. Once approved we sign a contract with the adopter. There is an adoption fee which varies depending on what type of pet. Our adoption fees help us pay for normal business expenses and animal care such as spay/neuter, vaccinations, Feline Leukemia and FIV testing for cats, Heartworm testing for dogs, deworming, flea & tick prevention, heartworm prevention and microchips.
We adopt locally as well as out of state. We can not provide transportation so if you are adopting out of state, you would be responsible for transport.
