Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Waleah was dropped off by her owners to the Miami-Dade Animal Services. She had a huge mass on one of her breasts and was not spayed. She is absolutely gorgeous and just as sweet.
We pulled Waleah from the shelter... and had the huge mass removed. It was biopsied and we found out that it was breast cancer.
We then set up an appointment with an oncologist in Tampa. We had another smaller lump biopsed too. Luckily, this biopsy showed that the cancer had not spread to the lymph nodes. This is great news!
We are trying to help Waleah extend her life by giving her a round of Chemotherapy treatments. These treatments will take 15 weeks to complete. It will not guarantee she will never get cancer again but it will help. Can you help us help this sweet girl?
